Privacy
This is not our full privacy policy. Wayleaf is in development and the only personal data we hold is the email address you give the waitlist, so this notice covers exactly that and nothing more. A complete policy — covering photos, trips, the people in your photographs, and everyone we work with to print a book — will be published before the app opens, and before any photograph is ever uploaded.
What we collect
Your email address, if you typed it into the waitlist form. That is the entire list.
Our host records ordinary web-server logs — IP address, page requested, browser — as almost every website does. We do not run analytics, we do not run advertising, and there are no third-party trackers on this site.
What we do with it
Send you an email when Wayleaf opens, and possibly one or two before then if something changes that you would want to know. Then we stop.
We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Until Wayleaf opens and we have written to you, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project is abandoned we will delete the list and tell you we have.
Removing yourself
Email hello@wayleaf.app and say so. No account needed, no form to find, no reason required. We will confirm when it is done.
Where it is stored
With Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which may store and process it outside Canada. If you are in the UK or the EU you have rights over this data — access, correction, erasure, and to complain to your data protection authority. The email address above reaches a person.
Changes
When the full policy is published this page will be replaced by it, and anyone on the waitlist will be told before that happens.
